Who we are
The Dads Inside Riding Trainers (DIRT) group was founded in 2018 by Jason Stern, Ken Nowell, and Doug Mastroianni — three dads who refused to let parenting get in the way of their love of cycling. What started as a small community of like-minded fathers has grown into a thriving, all-inclusive club spanning all experience levels and abilities.
Alongside DIRT rides the Moms Inside Riding Trainers (MIRT), because great racing is for everyone. Together we champion a consistently positive voice, a family focus, and a genuine belief that competitive sport and family life belong together.
Our EMEA chapter brings that same spirit to riders across Europe, the Middle East and Africa timezones — racing hard on the virtual roads of Zwift while the kids are in bed (or occasionally cheering from the sofa).
